Katrina Price

Managing Director

Bio

Katrina Price is a visionary leader in the performing arts community, known for founding one of the UK’s leading speech and drama academies, the Speech and Drama Academy. Her academy specialises in delivering LAMDA acting and public speaking classes and examinations to children and young performers across the UK and internationally.

Katrina’s journey in the arts began at the prestigious East 15 Acting School, where she honed her craft and graduated with a strong foundation in acting. Over the past decade, she has dedicated herself to coaching children and young performers, helping them develop their skills and confidence in performance and communication.

Under her expert guidance, many of her students have successfully gained places at prestigious drama schools across the UK, including RADA, LAMDA, Guildhall School of Music & Drama, East 15 Acting School, the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, and The BRIT School. Her students have gone on to book roles in television, film, and theatre, a testament to the direct impact of her coaching.

In addition to her work in education, Katrina is the founder and managing director of Price Hubbard Talent Agency. Under her leadership, Katrina has assembled an incredible team of industry professionals who work tirelessly to nurture and represent the talent they bring on board. Jack Ryder

Bio

Jack is best known for his role as Jamie Mitchell in the BBC One soap opera EastEnders, which he played from 1998 to 2002. After his departure from EastEnders, Jack has continued to build his prolific career in TV, film and theatre. With notable roles across TV, including: MIT: Murder Investigation Team, The Archers, Kay Mellors’ BBC drama In the Club, Doctors, Silent Witness and Holby City’s General Surgeon Evan Crowhurst. Jack also starred in the British film Popcorn as Danny.

In addition to his screen work, Jack has been actively involved in theatre. His stage credits include: Romeo and Juliet as Romeo, Calendar Girls as Laurence at the Noël Coward Theatre, The Safari Party by Tim Firth, Alan Bennett’s play Single Spies and Sir Kenneth Branagh’s production of The Play What I Wrote which toured the UK extensively.

Jack transitioned into directing and has directed several projects, including: Casualty, DOG, Kemi, Mike’s House, Saving Conor and Act of Memory: A Christmas Story, which was screened at the Cannes Film Festival.

Jack became an associate director of Calendar Girls, responsible for all theatre productions world-wide. Before becoming the associate director of the stage play The Full Monty by Simon Beaufoy, which opened at the Lyceum Theatre Sheffield. He continued his relationship with The Full Monty as the director of the new touring production that toured the UK through the autumn of 2015 into 2017. Jack’s directing projects also includes The History Boys at Wolverhampton Grand. He also became the assistant director to Tim Firth on his and Gary Barlow’s new musical The Girls, opening at the Phoenix Theatre in London’s West End. As a result of his work on The Girls and his success on The Full Monty, Gary Barlow and Take That asked Jack to become the codirector with Kim Gavin on their new musical The Band which became the fastest-selling tour of all time. The musical later transferred to the Theatre Royal Haymarket and had a successful run in Germany.

Jack has authored several children’s novels, often collaborating with illustrator Alice McKinley. Here are some of his notable works: Jack’s Secret Summer (2020), Jack’s Secret World (2021), Wish (2023) and Voyage to Mermaid Mountain: A Wish Story (2024). These books are admired for their engaging stories and enchanting illustrations, making them popular among young readers.

Caroline is a renowned stage, film and television actress and is the daughter of actress Polly Adams and actor Richard Owens.

Caroline trained at Central School of Speech and Drama and her career spans over three decades, during which she has taken on a variety of roles in film, television and. Some of her most notable TV credits include, A Touch of Frost where Caroline played the role of Woman Police Constable Hazel Wallace, later Detective Sergeant (DS) Wallace, in the long-running ITV police drama between 1992-2003, her other TV credits include, Harry Enfield and Chums, Growing Rich, Chancer, Riders, Middlemarch, Auf Wiedersehen, Pet, Casualty, Coronation Street, New Tricks, Doctors, Holby City, Honey for Tea, Kavanagh QC, Midsomer Murders,  Covington Cross, Foyle’s War, Holding On, Keeping Mum, Murder in Suburbia, A Dance to the Music of Time, I Saw You, Toast of Tinseltown, Ten Percent,  Slow Horses, Chemistry of Death and the crime drama Joan which is currently showing on ITV.

Nelly Ward is a distinguished actor and somatic movement educator, with a career spanning over two decades. Nelly trained at the prestigious Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art, Nelly’s acting career flourished in radio, television, and theatre. She graced the stage with leading roles in renowned productions by the Sir Peter Hall Company and at the Manchester Royal Exchange Theatre, among others.

For fifteen years, Nelly captivated audiences with her dynamic performances across various media. Her talent and dedication to her craft earned her notable roles in both classical and contemporary works, establishing her as a versatile and respected figure in the performing arts. During her acting career, Nelly developed a profound interest in movement and physicality, which led her to become a certified Somatic Movement Educator specialising in the Feldenkrais Method. She is passionate about helping young performers build deep confidence through movement. Nelly’s approach not only addresses specific physical habits but also enhances vocal and performance potential.

Nelly has dedicated herself to teaching Awareness Through Movement classes to performers across the UK and Europe and run’s renowned workshops that are designed to unlock greater vocal and performance capabilities, helping individuals connect with their bodies and discover their full potential.

Nelly also holds a qualification in Helping and Counselling Skills, and emphasises active listening and wellbeing in her work. She believes that fostering a supportive and empathetic environment is crucial for personal growth and development for young performers within the industry.

Nelly works at Price Hubbard in a dual role as a Wellbeing Mentor and Talent Coach. In this combined role, she supports young performers in developing their skills and confidence through movement, helping them overcome physical and mental barriers, to enhance their performances. Laurie Nelson

Drama Facilitator

Bio

Laurie is an experienced actor, director, and theatre maker who specialises in classical theatre, voice and speech, and nurturing young talent through teaching and facilitation.

Laurie received his training at Richmond Drama School and East 15 Acting School in London, and the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York, USA. After graduation, Laurie worked as an actor in Seattle, Washington before returning to the UK.

Laurie began his directing career in his hometown of Sheffield with celebrated productions of Jean-Paul Sartre’s No Exit and Patrick Marber’s Closer for Day One Theatre Company. He then co-founded Hey Up Theatre Company, whose first production was the world premiere of the acclaimed Me Brother Dan by then 15-year-old Molly Meleady-Hanley at the Crucible Theatre Studio. Other notable productions for Hey Up include the one-man show Santaland Diaries, in which he also starred, and a triumphant new imagining of Charles Dickens’s A Christmas Carol.

Beyond the stage Laurie has taught acting for various stage schools and theatre academies across the UK. He has also worked as a LAMDA and audition coach, a field in which his passion, enthusiasm, and experience have made him a popular and successful coach. Laurie’s dedication to nurturing young talent has had a significant impact on many aspiring actors.

In 2022, Laurie relocated to Bristol, where he has worked on several projects with the Bristol Old Vic. He is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Performance Directing at Bath Spa University.

We do not charge any ‘registration fees’ or upfront fees – Instead, we earn income through commissions on the work we secure for the children we represent.
